Departments
First Year Engineering Department:
First year Engineering is common to all branches which provides comprehensive and integrated studies of subjects in Engineering, Mechanics Engineering Drawing, Applied Physics, App. Chemistry, Applied Maths, Basic Electrical Engineering and Computer Programming and Communication Skills. The main aim of these subjects is to develop the basic skills which are prerequisites to Engineering and Technology. This department has highly qualified and well experienced faculty members to make the students well versed with the engineering subjects. Continuous efforts are being taken by all the faculties to improve the performance of students.
Electronics & Telecommunication Department :
Electronics and Telecommunication engineering [UG] course started in 1993. The department is well established and having well qualified and experienced staff members. Prof. B. U. Rindhe is Head of the Department and he is post graduate with 13 years of teaching experience and good interest in research work. The department has 4 laboratories with adequate equipment.
Computer Department Department :
Department of Computer Engineering was started in 1993.
The Department is well established with number of well qualified and experienced faculty members.
Prof K. T. Patil is the Head of Computer Engineering Department. He is post graduate in Electronics & Telecommunication (EXTC) with 13 years of teaching experience.
Department laboratories are spacious and adequately equipped. Department has been conducting industrial visits and technical seminars from time to time to upgrade the knowledge of students and staff.
Instrumentation Department :
Instrumentation Course started in 1993. The department is well established and number of post-graduates & well experienced faculty member in the Dept.
Prof. Shrihari D. Gaikwad, is the Head of Instrumentation Department. He is a post graduate in Instrumentation systems. Departmental laboratories are spacious and adequately equipped. Department is conducting Industrial visit & technical seminar time to time to upgrade the knowledge of students and staff.
Electrical Department :
Electrical Engineering is one of the core branches of engineering studies.
Prof B. P. Saoji, is the Head of Electrical Engineering
Department. Most of the branches like Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Applied Electronics, Electronics and Instrumentation, Information Technology have been emerged as a specialization from Electrical Engineering.
During the B. E. programme, the electrical engineers develop analytical skills and reasoning power along with computer knowledge and programming skills. This facilitates them to acquire employment also as software professionals.
