The Seminar was organized by Electronics and Tele-communications department of Indira Gandhi College of Engineering, Koper-Khairane, Navi-Mumbai on “Emerging Trends in Wireless Technology”. The Seminar covered topics like:
  1. Introduction to Wireless communication.

  2. CDMA
  3. Wireless Local Loop

  4. Recent topic in Wireless Network like GPS & 4th Generation Wireless Network .

 
CSI Seminar on “Latest Trend in Communication Networks & Security Systems”

Description:
Smt. Indira Gandhi College of Engineering, Koper-Khairane, Navi-Mumbai organized a seminar on 9th March 2006 on “ LATEST TRENDS IN COMMUNICATION NETWORKS & SECURITY SYSTEMS” in association with Computer Society of India in the college campus. This seminar was jointly organized by Electronics and Tele-communications and Computer Department. The chief guest Dr. A.D. Sawant (Pro Vice Chancellor of Mumbai University) shared his knowledge and experiences for carving the better future of the students. The chairman and Managing Director of MASTEK Mr. Ashank Desai the guest of honor shared his valuable thoughts and experiences as a growing entrepreneur and the current scenario of the software industry.


“IEEE workshop on Fiber Optic Interconnection Techniques”

Description:
Two day workshop organized by the Electronics and Tele-communications department of Indira Gandhi College of Engineering, Koper-Khairane, Navi-Mumbai in association with Fibre Optic association, U.S.A, India Chapter and co-sponsored by IEEE students chapter, Bombay section.
A visit to Reliance Infocom was conducted. During the 1st session of day 2. demo practical were conducted in the laboratory by the technical staff of F.O.A. and Trinity. The practical session was very much beneficial to the student participants from industry and educational institutions. Mr. Sunil Jadhav, Director, O.S.B. USA was the chief guest for the valedictory function.
