Introduction
Smt. Indira Gandhi College of Engineering is the reputed technical institute established in 1993. The institute is managed by Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Education, Science and Technological Research Trust, Nanded, under the dynamic leadership of Honorable Shri V. M. Jadhav, former member of parliament (Rajya Sabha).
Aim of the trust is to carry out Educational, Technical and Research activities. The trust has to its credit a number of Schools, B.Ed, D.Ed. College, Agriculture Bio-Technology College, Agriculture Engineering College and an Engineering college at Koper-Khairane, Navi Mumbai. SIGCE provides finest Environment for Teaching, Learning, Research, Innovation and Character building.

The college is having good infrastructure and all modern facilities required by the Technical Educational Institute. All the faculty members of all department including those of applied sciences are experienced staff members who take personal interest in the development of students. The teaching staff is recruited through University staff selection committee.
